2 Corinthians 5:11-17
2 Corinthians was written by Paul to defend his integrity. Dishonest false teachers vigorously worked to discredit Paul in every way. And so, what he does in this book is reveal his motives for ministry, 2 Corinthians 6.11. Just before this, Paul stated several motives that propelled him forward in his work as an apostle. How did Christ’s sacrifice impact Paul? How can it motivate you?

About Matthew Allen: Matt grew up in churches of Christ and found himself preaching the gospel shortly after becoming married. In 1995, Matt was trained to preach by Carl McMurray and the Brownsburg Church of Christ in Indiana. In 1997, Matt moved to Rapid City, SD where we began working with Southside Church of Christ. Matt spent six enjoyable years with Southside before moving back to Indiana to work with the church in Brownsburg. Matt is currently the minister for Kettering Church of Christ in Kettering, OH.
He has conducted meetings, lectureships, and conferences for churches of Christ throughout the United States an has also worked outside of the United States on several occasions. He's evangelized to Christians in Ukraine, Belize, Canada, and Colombia.
